Our Story

From institutional trading floors to independent innovation

The Beginning: Three Paths, One Destination

Our journey began over a decade ago in the demanding world of institutional trading technology. Three engineers, each starting their careers developing Forex trading backends for a leading English investment bank, would eventually converge to create something transformative in the high-frequency trading space.

Our paths initially diverged across the global financial landscape. One of us climbed the ranks at Goldman Sachs, leading reporting platform teams and spearheading cloud migration initiatives for OLAP systems. Another dove deep into AI and data science at Meta and leading fintech companies, mastering the art of extracting actionable insights from massive datasets while optimizing machine learning workflows for enterprise-scale applications. The third became a specialist in ultra-low latency trading systems, working across Morgan Stanley, Gemini, and other top-tier institutions, crafting execution platforms that measured performance in microseconds rather than milliseconds.

The Institutional Training Ground

What Top-Tier Banks Taught Us

Working at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch (Bank of America), and various cryptocurrency exchanges wasn't just employment—it was a masterclass in building systems that never fail. We learned to:

Think in Microseconds

Every nanosecond matters when millions of dollars flow through your systems per second

Build for Scale

Handling 10TB+ of daily data while maintaining sub-microsecond latencies

Engineer for Resilience

Creating systems with 99.999% uptime SLAs where downtime literally costs millions

Optimize Relentlessly

Achieving double-digit microsecond latencies requires understanding every layer from hardware to application code

Our collective experience spans the entire trading technology stack—from low-level network optimization and kernel bypassing to sophisticated risk management systems and machine learning-driven market analysis.

The COVID Catalyst

When Crisis Becomes Opportunity

The pandemic of 2020 became our inflection point. While many industries struggled, we saw the explosion of retail trading and the democratization of financial markets. But more importantly, we witnessed a gap in the market—sophisticated proprietary trading firms and hedge funds were paying millions for trading technology that we knew could be built better, faster, and more affordably.

Two of us made the decision to channel our decade-plus experience into building institutional-grade trading infrastructure. Our third colleague, with his specialized expertise in risk management systems and exchange connectivity, joined our mission months later, bringing critical components that completed our vision.

The Indian Options Revolution

Riding the Wave of Market Growth

We recognized that India's options trading market was experiencing unprecedented growth—volumes exploding by orders of magnitude over five years. New proprietary trading shops were emerging, hungry for the technological edge that major global firms possessed, but lacking the resources to build or buy such systems.

This was our moment. We understood both the technology and the market need intimately.

Building QuompTrade

Complete Stack

From order management systems to market data handlers, we've built every component with institutional attention to detail

Our Philosophy

Quality Over Shortcuts

After eleven years of building systems for others, we refused to compromise on quality for our own product. Every component in our platform reflects the same engineering standards we applied at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. We measure performance in nanoseconds, think about edge cases that occur once in a million transactions, and build for the kind of reliability that institutional money demands.

We're not interested in quick wins or flashy marketing. We're engineers who eat our own cooking—every feature we build is something we'd trust with our own capital in live markets.

Why We Do This

Beyond the 9-to-5

Frankly, we were tired of building exceptional technology for others while watching the industry charge astronomical fees for systems we knew could be better. After spending our careers optimizing microseconds for massive institutions, we wanted to democratize access to institutional-grade trading technology.

We're not venture-funded disruption artists with grand speeches about changing the world. We're three experienced engineers who saw an opportunity to build something valuable and sustainable. We want to provide proprietary trading firms and sophisticated individual traders with the same technological advantages that were previously available only to the largest financial institutions.

Our Commitment

Building QuompTrade for the Long Term

This isn't a side project or a quick cash grab. We've invested years of our lives and our deepest professional expertise into QuompTrade. Our reputation in the industry—built over a decade of successful implementations at top-tier institutions—is on the line with every client engagement.

When you work with QuompTrade, you're not just buying software. You're partnering with engineers who have architected systems handling billions in daily trading volume, who understand what it takes to maintain 99.999% uptime, and who have personally debugged production issues while markets were open and money was on the line.

"QuompTrade represents the culmination of over three decades of combined experience in institutional trading technology. We're not here to revolutionize trading—we're here to make institutional-grade technology accessible to the next generation of sophisticated traders."
